I’m a wellbeing and leadership specialist and host of Wellbeing Gets Real Podcast.

With 20 years of experience in sharing positive psychology and neuroscience within corporates and education, I have worked with all levels of an organisation.

My Positive Psychology lens on leadership involves; ensuring psychological safety (the building of trust) within a team remains an imperative as leaders navigate the challenges of the modern world.  I use the ART of Connection Framework (founded on social connection theory) in the masterclass workshops for managers, where we explore the neurobiology of connection to help build a culture of care and safety.

I also offer a general focus on wellbeing offerings and a specific focus on supporting working parents. Parental mental distress is on the rise and organisations are losing valuable people as a result. I’ve built an evidence-based framework, The CALMER Parent Wellbeing Model® to foster the wellbeing of working parents both in the workplace and at home. This framework is supported by a set of practical (& aesthetically pleasing) action cards to help make wellbeing real for parents. These helpful strategies aim to strengthen the ecosystem everyone (parents and children) comes home to each night in order to recharge.

Knowledge is only beneficial if you can and do apply it. I focus on the development of Tiny Habits / small nudges to ensure wellbeing gets real for you!

A bit about me…

Back in the day I used to identify as being a fierce hockey player who was as dance floor starter and loved to sing out of tune, now I’m more of a zen yogi, who dabbles in playing hockey, but still starts any dance floor and continues to sing out of tune… Something else that has stayed consistent is the importance I place on relationships. My family and my friends are always top of my mind.

Why psychology? When I was 16, at a hockey camp and with the help of a sports psychologist, I started my lifelong obsession with psychology, improvement and personal potential. Much to my poor husband and children’s dismay, I’m always banging on about learning and growth! At least my clients love me for it…well they ask me back, so that’s proof right?!?!

One of the biggest lesson I have learnt in life? - I must be of service to myself, so I can be of service to others.
